The courts of Jackson county are open for cases scheduled for hearings and trials. For Covid -19 safety spectators are being limited in the courts at this time. The court offices are available to the public by phone.  The Jackson County Clerk's office has protective order forms and dissolution of marriage forms on their website and outside the clerk's office. Jackson Superior Court 1 (812)522-9677 For most criminal misdemeanors(other then OWI), small claims, civil collections, mortgage foreclosures, and civil torts.

Jackson Superior Court 2 (812)358-6803 For most family matters, adoptions, protective orders, child in need of services (dcs) matters, and juvenile matters.
