The Human Resources Department is responsible for:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the employee handbook policy
  • Providing information on benefits and policies to new employees
  • Assisting employees to resolve issues related to employee benefits
  • Maintaining the commissioner's budget
  • Assuring that county employment practices comply with ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EOE, and all other local, state, and federal employment laws, rules, and regulations
