The Jackson County Highway Department along with its Board of Commissioners is committed to all of its 42,376 citizens in the County. Of that 42,376 there are 5,636 persons with Vision, Physical, Hearing, and Cognitive disabilities. That number makes up 13.3% of our total population
Jackson County Highway will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.
Public Meetings
Our meetings are ADA and Title VI accessible to the public for anyone who wishes to attend. A translator may be supplied upon request to any person with limited English proficiency or hearing impaired.
