--Cost is $25.00 for in County Resident
--Cost is $65.00 for out of County Resident
--Both applicants must appear together in person
--A certified birth certificate, a valid operator's license or other identification issued by a state that contains the individual's date of birth and current address. (IC 31-11-4-6)
--At least one applicant must be a resident of Jackson County
--Both applicants must be 18 years or older.

--Marriage license is good for 60 days.

How much money do I owe in child support?
If your case was handled by the prosecutor's office, call the KIDSLINE at 1-800-840-8757 M-F 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If your case was handled by a private attorney, you will need to contact the attorney. If your case was handled on your own, you will need to compare the payments made with what was ordered.
Can I see what is in a file?
All files are public record EXCEPT juvenile cases and adoptions. Positive photo ID is required to look at or get copies of ALL juvenile cases.
